Zespół Flor de Loto powstał w 1998 r. w Limie, stolicy Peru.

Od lat uważany jest za jeden z najważniejszych zespołów południowoamerykańskiej sceny prog rocka. Swoje charakterystyczne i rozpoznawalne brzmienie zawdzięczają wykorzystaniu tradycyjnych andyjskich i peruwiańskich instrumentów: fletu quena i fletni zampoña, oraz wykonywanym po hiszpańsku utworom. Muzyka Flor de Loto czerpie z szerokiego spektrum inspiracji: rocka progresywnego, hard rocka, jazzu, lokalnego folku, czy psychodelii. Krytycy porównują twórczość zespołu do klasycznego Jethro Tull, jednak zdefiniowaną silnymi wpływami andyjskiego folkloru.

„Live at RoSFest” to wydanie upamiętniające pierwszy koncert zespołu na amerykańskim festiwalu Rites of Spring Festival w maju 2018 r. Festiwal ten jest jednym z największych wydarzeń dla fanów rocka i metalu progresywnego, którzy przybywają co roku do Gettysburga w Pensylwanii, aby posłuchać najlepszych zespołów z całego świata. Amerykański debiut Flor de Loto był jednym z najlepiej zapamiętanych koncertów tamtej edycji festiwalu, a panująca na nim atmosfera uwieczniona została na materiałach audio i wideo. Wszystkie one dostępne są na najnowszym dwupłytowym albumie koncertowym „Live at Rosfest”

Flor de Loto is a Peruvian band founded in 1998. For years, it has been considered one of the most important bands in the South American prog rock scene. They owe their characteristic and recognizable sound to the use of traditional instruments: the quena and zampoña flutes and songs performed in Spanish. The music of Flor de Loto draws from a broad spectrum of inspirations: progressive rock, hard rock, jazz, local folk, or psychedelic, with the strong influences of Andean folklore.

„Live at RoSFest” is a release commemorating the band’s first appearance on the American scene during the Rites of Spring Festival in May 2018. The festival is one of the most important events for all the fans of progressive rock and metal worldwide. Flor de Loto’s American debut was one of the most remembered shows at the festival, and its atmosphere is perfectly captured both on audio and video recordings. Right now, all these materials can be experienced on the double concert album „Live at Rosfest” - consisting of both a CD and a DVD,
