Lothar - Michael Ernst studiował grę na fortepianie 
w Konserwatorium Leopolda-Mozarta w Niemczech. 
Od trzydziestu lat  koncertuje solowo w duetach i trio, m.in
zespoły jazz-rockowe i dziewięcioosobowy zespół wykonujący rock, soul, itp.
Do tej pory artysta wydał pięć płyt CD, w tym jedną z utworami fortepianowymi .
Praca nad albumem „ Stranded On Inner Shores trawała
 od 2012 do 2015 roku i jak pisze artysta poznał wtedy cudowną kobietę , 
która zainspirowała go do napisania jeszcze pięciu  
najlepszych utworów na ten album . Do nagrania tej płyty muzyk zaprosił 
 najlepszych studyjnych muzyków i w 2017 roku praca nad albumem 
została definitywnie zakończona .
Na płycie  znalazło się 12 kompozycji ( 77 minut muzyki )
 w stylu klasycznego rocka progresywnego polecanych 
szczególnie wielbicielom takich zespołów jak : 
Camel , The Alan Parson Project , Dire Straits , Pink Floyd , Asia  czy TOTO .

Lothar say : „ The compositions for "Stranded On Inner Shores" began in 2012 and were finished in 2015, but then I had a fantastic love affair with a wonderful woman after long years of loneliness. This was some kind of a "trigger", and I composed five of the best titles on this CD within six months . Then I called the best studio musicians I knew and asked them to help me with my new project. They agreed, but it took another year until everyone had the time to do it, and so we finished work in 2017”

Classic progressive album in : Camel , The Alan Parson Project , Dire Straits , Pink Floyd , Asia and TOTO music style.

Lothar - Michael Ernst studied piano at the Leopold-Mozart-Conservatory, Augsburg, Germany
Live performances over a period of thirty years with solo, duo, trio concerts, a
big band, jazz-rock bands and a nine-piece band performing rock , soul, funk etc.
Until now five CDs have been released, one of them a solo piano work.
