Rico Schett i t dot est prezentują album „Fair Trade” – progresywna opowieść o ego, emocjach i stracie

Projekt Rico Schett, stworzony przez autora tekstów, wokalistę i gitarzystę Rico Schett we współpracy z producentem muzycznym t dot est (Szymon Aleksander Piotrowski), rozpoczął się od trzech balladowych utworów w 2025 roku. Wkrótce przerodził się w pełnoalbumowy projekt, który zyskał formę progresywnego storytellingu, gdy Szymon wrócił do Krakowa z Austrii, przywożąc swój niebieski zestaw perkusyjny i własne pomysły.

Tematy przewodnie albumu to ego, emocje i strata, z wojną (motyw Shooting stars) i przemocą w tle – szczególnie w utworach Make a Wish, One World to Collide i poruszającym Over the Moon, opartym na prawdziwej historii gwałtu na Zachodnim Brzegu Jordanu.

Rico Schett and t dot est present the album “Fair Trade” – a progressive tale of ego, emotions and loss

The Rico Schett project, created by songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Rico Schett in collaboration with music producer t dot est (Szymon Aleksander Piotrowski), began with three ballad-like tracks in early 2025. It soon evolved into a full-scale album project, taking on the form of progressive storytelling when Szymon returned to Krakow from Austria, bringing his blue drum kit and a wealth of ideas.

The album explores themes of ego, emotions and loss, with war (leitmotif of Shooting stars) and violence as a haunting backdrop – particularly in tracks such as Make a Wish, One World to Collide and the poignant Over the Moon, based on a true story of rape in the West Bank.

Production and recording:

Sessions took place at Kotlownia Studio, Weekendova Studio, Aleksander Margasiński’s studio and Psychosound Studio.

All tracks were mixed by t dot est and mastered by Tom Waltz in New York, USA.
