SIENA ROOT – “A NEW DAY DAWNING” digipak

Reedycja pierwszej płyty szwedzkiej grupy rockowej z 2004 roku. Zespół nawiązuje do muzyki z przełomu lat 60tych/70tych, inspirując się brytyjskim i amerykańskim graniem z tych lat. Odnajdujemy tu brzemienia takich wykonawców jak DEEP PURPLE, ALLMAN BROTHER BAND czy JEFFERSON AIRPLANE. Hard-prog-bluesowe utwory przeplatane dużą dawką psychodelii. Zespół gra na oryginalnych instrumentach z epoki - fantastyczne partie klawiszowe na prawdziwych hammondach, oraz nagrywa płyty w sposób całkowicie analogowy.

Na pierwszej płycie możemy znaleźć prawdziwe „perły” jak np. 2 ostanie nagrania „Rasayana” i „Into The Woods” inspirowane odgłosami przyrody i lasów skalndynawskich.

Siena Root is a group and an experimental project with its roots in analogue old school rock music. The foundation is a trio from Stockholm that's been around since the late '90s. The sound is classic but yet original, founded on heavy organ, strat leads, bass riffing and big drums.

It is also often enriched with bluesy soulful vocals, indian classical instruments and psychedelic vibes.

A NEW DAY DAWNING:

Re-edition of the first CD of the Swedish rock group from 2004. The formation refers to music from the turn of the 1960s / 1970s, inspiring British and American playing these years. We find here the burden such contractors as DEEP PURPLE, ALLMAN BROTHER BAND or JEFFERSON

AIRPLANE. Hard-prog-blues songs interspersed with a large dose of psychedelia.

The band plays original period instruments - fantastic parties keyboards on real hammonds, recordings in a way completely analog.

On the first album we can find real "pearls" like for example 2 last tracks "Rasayana" and "Into The Woods" inspired by the sounds of nature and of the Scandinavian forests
