THE BROKEN BRIDGES „ ENDLESS ROAD „

The Broken Bridges powstał na początku 2014 roku z inicjatywy lidera Marka Habryna. Zafascynowana muzyką lat 70 a szczególnie dokonaniami zespołów spod znaku rocka progresywnego grupa muzyków z różnymi doświadczeniami muzycznymi skupiona wokół kompozytora zaczęła intensywną pracę nad materiałem. Ważną osobą jest postać Wojciecha Podemskiego początkowo również gitarzysty zespołu ale przede wszystkim tekściarza który nadał pewien sentymentalizm i melancholię swoim tekstom co idealnie zgrało się z muzyką.

Przedstawiany materiał pochodzi z lat 2014 – 2016 i który został nagrany w grudziądzkim studio progress pod czujnym okiem realizatora Daniela Grzybowskiego Grupa grała wtedy w składzie : Marek Habryn (Wokal/gitara) Grzegorz Grzanka (instr. Klawiszowe) Michał Kusz (bas ) Marek Sobiecki (bębny) Joanna Pulkowska ( chórki)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Broken Bridges was formed in 2014 and its formation was encouraged by its leader – Marek Habryn. Fascinated by the music of the 1970s, with particular emphasis and interest in progressive rock bands, the group of musicians with different musical backgrounds started working hard on their debut material under the watchful eye of the composer, who played a pivotal part in the band. Of note, an important figure in the band is Wojciech Podemski, who was initially a guitarist, but first and foremost is a lyricist, whose skill in writing song texts breathed a touch of melancholy into the band’s songs making the lyrics perfectly match the music.The presented material,composed between 2014 and 2016,was recorded in Studio Progress (located in Grudziądz, Poland) under the supervision of Daniel Grzybowski (sound engineer). The then line-up of the band was: Marek Habryn (vocals/guitar), Grzegorz Grzanka (keyboard instruments), Michał Kusz (bass), Marek Sobiecki (drums), Joanna Pulkowska (backing vocals).

Bonus track: After multiple changes to the group’s line-up, the current members are: Marek Habryn (vocals/guitar), Grzegorz Grzanka (keyboard instruments, accordion), Łukasz Dryl (bass), Sławomir Kaligowski (drums). The presented material was recorded between 2017 and 2019 in the Unisono Studio(located in Grudziądz, Poland) and is a sneak peak of the upcoming new album. Several novel influences can be heard that are brought in by such instruments as the accordion or the flamenco guitar, which make the band’s new sound more various. Enjoy listening!
