WAVE Dream ( digipak )

Zespół Wave z radością prezentuje swój trzeci album zatytułowany „Dream”. To odrealnione, oniryczne wyprawy muzyczne w rejony psychodelii, melancholii i nostalgii, odbywające się na pograniczu jawy i snu. Album zawiera pełne melodyki, rozbudowane formy muzyczne w klimacie jesienno-zimowym o wyraźnie nocnym charakterze. Brzmienie płyty jest pastelowe, pełne pulsacji, miejscami rozedrgane i migoczące. Każdy z utworów jest samodzielną opowieścią poetycko-muzyczną, będącą jednocześnie spójnym elementem całości krążka. Wykorzystujemy wiele estetyk muzycznych, takich jak rock, jazz, ambient, muzyka awangardowa czy eksperymentalna. W Warstwie lirycznej album opisuje codzienne zmagania człowieka na styku jego subiektywnych przeżyć emocjonalnych i dość bezwzględnego świata zewnętrznego. Prowadzi przez pole bitwy między brutalną, mającą na daną sytuację tylko jedną odpowiedź rzeczywistością, a wielowątkową, rozbudowaną sferą marzeń, snów i planów. Walka tych dwóch światów i wyobrażeń owocuje emocjonalną refleksją, jak również niezgodą i melancholią. Muzyka i słowa zawarte na „Dream” nie powinny być odczytywane jako wyraz smutku, kojarzącego się z cierpieniem i bólem - estetyka albumu to ciepłe, sentymentalne rozrzewnienie, związane z upływem czasu, ogólnym przemijaniem oraz retrospekcją. Nasza propozycja jest dedykowana szczególnie do osób świadomych muzycznie, posiadających dużą wrażliwość emocjonalną (tzw. nadwrażliwców), dla których muzyka jest ważnym nośnikiem wartości duchowych.

„Dream” is third album of Wave. Having put a lot of effort and attention to every detail of this concept  album, we do hope that you’ll will appreciate both, the music as well as the thoughtul lyrics. As for the music we’ve tried to invite you to an oniric and melancholic journey through the fields of psychodelic and the most remote corners of your musical sensivity and perception, on the verge of a dream and reality. To achieve this effect, we’ve carefully crafted extended musical forms and patterns. They are vibrating with rhytms, yet there is still a place to take a breath during pastel and sparkling catchy tunes. Every song in itself creates its own story to tell, however being at the same time an entire  part of the whole album concept. As approaching the lyrics, they simply describe one’s, who could be anyone else,  daily struggle of mutual contradiction of  emotions, dreams and disappointments, while  colliding with the outer world. Life is decribed as a battlefield  between the most intimate and fragile  structure  of  our awerness  and  the nowadays, only one way  gain orientated,  harsh  reality and solutions. The conclusion of these two colided points of view clearly creates a thought provoking conflict and that is exactly what we have tried to  express in the music contents of this album. For it is, not entirely sadness  orientated music, as the sadness is commonly  connected with pain and suffering. We‘ve  made an attempt to recall the positive and cherish moments from the insight into our own lives passing experiences. Yesterday is but today's memory, and tomorrow is today's dream

We dedicate this album to all affectionate and sensitive prog music lovers, who perceive  music  as the wings, which can carry them away from reality and a path to build their own castles in the air.
